Try the macmillan website they do a booklet on how to let children know. I hope it helps

I felt this was the best place to go, I have six children they are older, I felt that you are would be wiser than me in the area of telling my children there father who is my ex husband that he has stomach cancer.
Any suggestions I would appreciate.
